Service Policies 2026

 

General Service Policy

ArmorTech provides diagnostic, repair, installation, and electronic system services for residential and commercial customers. All services are performed based on the condition of the equipment at the time of inspection and are subject to the limitations of the device, parts availability, and prior damage.


Diagnostic Fee Policy

Diagnostic fees cover inspection, testing, and identification of faults.
These fees are required regardless of whether the customer proceeds with repair.

Diagnostic fees may be applied toward the total repair cost if the customer approves the recommended repair.

A diagnostic does not guarantee that a repair can be completed.


Estimate Policy

All estimates are based on visible and testable conditions at the time of diagnosis.

Final repair cost may change if:

  • Additional faults are discovered 
  • Parts are unavailable or discontinued 
  • Prior damage or failed repair attempts are found 
  • Equipment condition changes during disassembly or testing 

Customer approval is required before proceeding with any additional work beyond the original estimate.


Deposit Policy

Deposits are required for:

  • Special-order parts 
  • Device repair 
  • Board-level repair (ArmorTech Labs) 
  • Scheduled repair jobs requiring parts 

Deposits are non-refundable once:

  • Parts have been ordered 
  • Labor has been scheduled 
  • Work or intake has begun 


Repair Attempt Policy

Not all repairs are guaranteed.

Certain repairs carry risk due to:

  • Liquid damage 
  • Power surge damage 
  • Board-level faults 
  • Corrosion 
  • Prior repair attempts 
  • Component or processor failure 

Customers acknowledge that some repairs are classified as attempted repair, and success is not guaranteed.


Parts Policy

ArmorTech may use new, refurbished, or equivalent replacement parts when necessary.

Customer-supplied parts:

  • Are not warrantied by ArmorTech 
  • May affect repair outcome 
  • May result in additional labor if incorrect or defective 

ArmorTech is not responsible for delays or failures caused by customer-supplied parts.


Warranty Policy

Warranty applies only to the specific repair performed.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Unrelated component failure 
  • Power surges or electrical damage 
  • Liquid damage or corrosion 
  • Physical damage or misuse 
  • Infestation (insects, rodents, etc.) 
  • Pre-existing conditions 

Warranty terms may vary depending on service type and will be communicated at time of service.


No Guarantee of Outcome

ArmorTech does not guarantee:

  • Full restoration of equipment 
  • Data recovery success 
  • Continued operation after repair 
  • Compatibility with third-party equipment 

All services are performed with best effort and professional standards.


Security System Disclaimer

ArmorTech installs and services electronic equipment only.

We do not provide:

  • Alarm monitoring 
  • Emergency dispatch 
  • Security surveillance services 
  • Crime prevention guarantees 

Customers are responsible for obtaining monitoring services if required.


Data & Device Liability

ArmorTech is not responsible for:

  • Data loss 
  • Corrupted files 
  • Software issues 
  • Pre-existing storage failure 

Customers are responsible for backing up data prior to service.

TERMS & CONDITIONS


Service Agreement

By booking a service, requesting work, or submitting an intake, the customer agrees to these terms and policies.


Access to Property

The customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the equipment and service area.

ArmorTech reserves the right to refuse or stop service if:

  • Conditions are unsafe 
  • Access is restricted 
  • Equipment presents a hazard 


Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Card 
  • Digital payment 
  • Invoice (for approved accounts) 

Unpaid balances may result in:

  • Service delays 
  • Additional fees 
  • Collection actions if necessary 


Abandoned Equipment

Equipment left without communication or payment for more than 30 days may be considered abandoned.

ArmorTech reserves the right to:

  • Dispose of equipment 
  • Recycle components 
  • Recover costs associated with storage 


Limitation of Liability

ArmorTech is not liable for:

  • Indirect or incidental damages 
  • Loss of business or income 
  • Equipment failure beyond repaired components 
  • Pre-existing conditions 

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service performed.


Right to Refuse Service

ArmorTech reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Safety concerns 
  • Improper working conditions 
  • Equipment beyond repair 
  • Customer misconduct 


Scheduling & Cancellations

Appointments are scheduled within service windows.

Customers agree to:

  • Be available during the scheduled window 
  • Provide notice for cancellations 

Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a service fee.


Modifications to Terms

ArmorTech reserves the right to update these terms and policies at any time without prior notice.

Repair Warranty

ArmorTech Solutions warrants that the specific repair performed is free from defects in workmanship for 30 days from the completion date, unless otherwise stated in writing.

What Is Covered

• The specific repair performed

• Components replaced during service

What Is Not Covered

• New or unrelated failures

• Liquid or moisture damage

• Impact or electrical surge damage

• Firmware or software issues

• Wear and tear or cosmetic defects

Certified remanufactured boards (when available) will carry a separate warranty stated at time of sale.

Warranty claims must be evaluated by ArmorTech prior to approval.

Your Privacy at ArmorTech

Protecting Your Privacy

 ArmorTech respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Information We Collect
When you contact ArmorTech for service, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, and equipment information necessary to complete your service request.

How We Use Information
Your information is used solely to:

  • communicate regarding service requests
     
  • provide repair updates
     
  • schedule service
     
  • send invoices or payment links
     
  • coordinate work orders
     

We do not send promotional marketing text messages. We do not transfer your personal information to any external organizations for any purpose. Access to your data is strictly limited to authorized personnel for service operations only. 

Text Messaging (SMS) Communication
If you contact ArmorTech by phone or text, you consent to receive one-to-one messages regarding your service request, scheduling, invoices, or repair status. Message frequency varies based on your service activity.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

No Sharing or Selling of Information
ArmorTech does not sell, rent, or share customer information or phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect customer information and only use it for service operations.
